Whats been happening this week in the brew house!!
Well, I thought it was about time that we started blogging about whats going on in the brewery.
Well this week started as every week does getting ready for brewing for the week and also looking into deliveries and sales. Monday started of with Jed on a ‘Guest Quest’ which basically ment driving around all the micro breweries in Suffolk / Norfolk collecting guest ales for three beer festivals we are organising for next week. Jed went from Bungay to Brancaster collecting various tubs of beer.
Brewing wise a pretty busy week this week as we have now started to brew for the lattitude festival which is 500 firkins, we have a brew of Trawlerboys, Summer Dream and Mahseer also needed this week so everyone is kept busy.
Bottle sales have been doing very well on our online shop as we have temporarily run out of 750ml Lurcher Bottles so we have started to get these bottled and trying to find the time to bottle our baltic trader and some more ripper.
We have been selling quite a few of our beer in boxes So if your are organising a BBQ or a pary then look no further for some award winning real ale delivered to your door
Summer Dream 4.0% elderflower ale is selling really well and causing us to go out in the Norfolk / Suffolk countryside picking wild elderflowers so if you spot us say hello.
Finally we have decided to get our Mahseer IPA 5.0% abv bottled
The Mahseer IPA is 5.0% abv India Pale Ale as it was always intended to be strong bitter and very hoppy! Our IPA has been Brewed with English bittering hops and American aroma hops, a winning combination! Named after the legendary Golden Mahseer, which is most highly prized fish a freshwater angler can catch! Growing to over 120lb in weight the mahseer inhabits the rivers of northern India.
Mahseer will be available in 500ml sterile filtered bottles end of July on our online shop where you can buy real ale online

Other than that a pretty normal week here really with next week looking extremely busy so this week will basically be preparing for next weeks madness.
