Easter Egg Hunt
Easter is just around the corner and there are lots of events going on around East Anglia over the Easter period. There is the Beer Festival at THE GELDESTON LOCKS Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th OVER 30 REAL ALES AND CIDER. The Locks will be open from 12:00 each day.
The Triangle Tavern will also be holding a beer festival starting 30th March with over 25 Real Ales.

There’s nothing like hunting around the gardern during classic Easter weather (rain of course) for Easter Eggs! So for all you sofa-surfers Green Jack have organised a Easter Egg using Social Media.

October is nearly here
So October is nearly here and hasnt the weather been great this week? It just doesnt seem like the end of September when it is 28C outside.

Things have slowed down from manic to crazy here this week, with a great result last week from our bottled Lurcher stout winning Gold and Ripper winning Silver at the East Anglian SIBA awards it has been a good start to the week. Our Baltic Trader has been racked this week and we look forward to the delivery of our new addition to our fleet of drays meaning we can deliver more every day.

Halloween is the end of the month so Green Jack have brewed a special ale to put on your bar for Halloween. Fruit Bat 5.5% is an extra special bitter flavoured with plums giving a wonderful fruity flavour scary enough for Halloween.

Gone Fishing Now Available in 750ml conditioned bottles

The Gone Fishing E.S.B.or “gone missing” as they call it in our pub, is a strong, deep amber coloured Ale, fruity and malty very drinkable for it’s strength. A very popular brew in the Triangle Tavern

Lurcher wins gold !
Green Jacks very own Lurcher Stout 4.8%abv scores a Gold at The SIBA East Regional Beer competition held at Elgoods Brewery last week (29th Sept 2010) the dark smooth mocha and chocolatey stout then went on to win Bronze in the overall competition ! Many thanks to all who appreciate the dark side of Real Ale !!
Orange Wheat 4.2%abv recieved a Bronze in its class !

“Ripper” wins silver overall at Peterborough Beer Festival 2009
The Green Jack Brewery are celebrating as “Ripper” the 8.5%abv Belgian style beer is awarded a silver as the over all festival ale and bags a Gold in its Class !!
Orange Wheat wins again with a Bronze in its Class of Speciality Beers !!
