Summer Dream Strikes Gold At Peterborough Beer Festival

Green Jack’s Summer Dream Was Voted The Best Overall Ale at the 2010 Peterborough Beer Festival

Green Jack are celebrating again this week as “Summer Dream” won both its category and then the overall ‘best real ale’ award at this years Peterborough Beer Festival.

1000′s of real ale enthusiasts filled the Peterborough arena to see who is making the best beer in land. After much deliberation and [obligatory] beer drinking the voters decided that Green Jacks Summer Dream really was as the name suggests and they also voted Green Jacks Notorious Ripper as 3rd best of the barley wines.

Green Jack MD & Master Brewer Timothy Dunford, was on BBC Television last night after winning the award and he was full of praise for his hard working brewery team based in Lowestoft in Suffolk.
